“My goal is to bring some fun and adventure to the world through SCUBA diving and Scouting in stories that appeal to all ages. As an added bonus, I will donate a portion of my book sale proceeds to Scouting America's Sea Base, which focuses on ocean exploration, adventure, and education. Through the Sea Base programs, participants can learn more about sailing, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving (Lindale)”.
**CAPTAIN’S GOLD**

"Jake and Mackenzie expected a boring spring break—especially after their teacher assigned a last-minute project. But what began as a simple plan to get scuba certified and visit Manitou Island quickly turned into the adventure of a lifetime. Beneath the icy waters of Lake Michigan, the two friends uncover clues leading to a long-lost treasure, launching them into a dangerous mystery filled with shipwrecks, hidden secrets, and discoveries they never imagined".
“Captain’s Gold by Adam Lindale opens with the shipwreck of The Three Brothers, a real wreck resting beneath the cold waters of Lake Michigan. Inspired by his great-grandfather, James Burdick, who served as the lighthouse keeper on Manitou Island at the time of the wreck, Lindale weaves history, adventure, and mystery into a compelling story. As a father of Eagle Scouts, PADI scuba instructor, and lifelong lover of mystery, Lindale created this novel to inspire young readers to seek adventure, value education, and develop an interest in scuba diving and Scouting America (Lindale)”.
